Together they determine the tightly knit project environment. Having any one of these constrains exceed its pre-determined limit means disaster for a project. Additionally even Quality is considered as a determining factor of running a successful project and thus it is included in the constraints calling it the Quadruple Constraint.

This make sit important to define the project environment and various roles of the Stakeholders: Project sponsor, Project manager, Project team, Support staff, Customers, Suppliers, and Opponents to the project.
