    2. The Way We Have Been Using Presentations? The slide opens with pointing out that ever since 1990, since PowerPoint came along, we have been using the most meaningless way to communicate ideas through PowerPoint presentations by using boring bullet points and design instead of simple, legible and engaging presentations.
    3. How To Make Them Better? Is there a way for a Project Manager to make presentations better? Let’s face it as a Project Manager you have so many important things that sitting and designing presentations is the last minute activity for you. But what if there was a way that made doing presentations more fun and relevant and as important as Project Management itself. This section introduces Creating Presentations as an activity similar to Project Management. Yes. It guides the Project managers by asking them to view a Presentation as a Project and to view Presentation Processes as Project Processes. Having created this analogical framework it guides the project manager through each stage of creating easy presentation and in the process develop the skills.
    4. Comparing Project Processes Vs. Presentation Processes. Project Processes include Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring &Control, and Closing. Similarly Presentation Processes include Think, Story, Design, Optimize, and Present. For a Project Manager when things are easily defined and broken down into processes half the task is easily accomplished.
    5. Presentation Processes - Think Explained. Think in Presentation Process is analogically related to Initiation Stage of Project for a Project Manager. Think is about your being clear about your goals- the points you want to make and why they matter. It is also about considering who your audience is for this goal and what they need to know. This process also includes restrictions about what needs to be the focus, what needs to be explained in detail and what needs to be highlighted – the agenda. A PM undertakes the Think Process to clarify and arrive at Presentation Goals.
    6. Presentation Processes - Story Explained. Story in Presentation Process is analogically related to Planning Stage of Project for a Project Manager. Here the Project Manager needs to craft his story around the goals and how they relate to each other and why they are being discussed today. When you create a story they have to be coherent (challenges faced), credible (based on research and facts), and emotional (who did what, in what way, at what personal cost and how it solved the challenge).
    7. Presentation Processes - Design Explained. Design in Presentation Process is analogically related to Execution Stage of Project for a Project Manager. When Designing presentations the useful elements are using Visuals, Using empty space strategically, use of contrast, repetition and alignment.
    8. Presentation Processes - Optimize Explained. Optimize in Presentation Process is analogically related to Monitoring & Controlling Stage of Project for a Project Manager. Optimize involves Standing back and relaxing to review your work, check, improvise, and get feedback.
    9. Presentation Processes - Present Explained. Present in Presentation Process is analogically related to Closing Stage of Project for a Project Manager. Present involves the actual delivery where PM must focus on removing barriers which do not allow for free exchange of ideas, being present in the moment, and connect with the audience.
