This section gives an overview of the HR Management cycle which includes Recruitment and selection, training & development, performance management, reward management, and career management. - Manpower Planning & Employee Recruitment. The first and foremost process in the HR Function is Manpower Planning. Manpower planning is the process of identifying the right number of people required by a business organization. It is a process which helps a business identify what kind of people are required in the staff and in what numbers. It connects with the company’s main strategy and decides if people are to be recruited or downsized. This section covers the factors in forecasting personnel requirements.
