- 100 Training Games and Energizers PPT
- Howdy Howdy. A good game for team ice-breaking session. Formation required is to stand in a circle. Two people are active at a given time competing for an empty space. The game continues until everyone has had a turn.
- Juggling ball game. Game is for larger groups. Formation is a circle. Facilitator initiates the game with the ball. Participants follow a pattern in catching and throwing the ball within the group. After one round additional balls are passed at the same time increasing the complexity of the game.
- Names and adjectives. Participants think of an adjective that starts with the same letter as their own name to describe how they are feeling. They mime an action that describes the adjective.
- Three truths and a lie. Idea is based around sharing personal information and sharing it with the group and guessing which of the ‘facts’ shared is an actual lie.
- Connecting eyes. Formation based on standing in a circle. Exercise is based on non verbal visual communication.
- Match the cards. Game is based on finding a partner based on matching the cards which have one half each of the pre-written phrases that are split into two cards.
- Space on my right. Formation based on being seated in a circle. Idea is based on moving spaces and partners until everyone has had the experience of sharing the space with each member of the group.
- What we have in common. Facilitator calls out random characteristics according to which participants form groups and move together. Then they disband and again they group and move together.
- Who are you? A highly engaging group game that requires skill and coordination to play it. Requires one person to play the leader. The group follows the leader’s action and protects him. It also requires one person to play an outsider who spots the leader and thus joins the group. The turn to be outsider passes to each one.
- The list includes other games such as - I’m going on a trip, What kind of animal? Killer wink, the sun shines on...Body writing, Names in the air, As and Bs, Move to the spot, Banana game, Dancing on paper, What has changed? Five islands, The longest line, Pass the energy, How do you like your neighbor?, Leading and guiding, Passing the rhythm, Muddling messages, Yes/No game, What are we doing?, Reflecting on the day and many more.
